Located just 24 minutes from Citywest Hotel, the Aviva Stadium is the home of Irish Rugby and Soccer. Located at the site of the old Lansdowne Road Stadium, this state of the art facility hosts all of Irelands Home international Soccer and Rugby matches.

The stadium opened in May 2010 with a game between an Eircom League selection against Manchester United. It has since been the venue for a number of international and national fixtures, including the 6 Nations Championships, Heineken Cup Euro 2012 qualifiers, FAI cup finals and will host the 2011 Europa Cup Final. It is also a popular concert venue with the Script playing in 2011.
