Very nice warm comfortable room. Everything was spotless. Staff were helpful & friendly. It was lovely to be able to walk over to Lemongrass after a long drive up. Would highly recommend this hotel
Fabulously striking drive on arrival lived with autumnal colours, dazzling foyer on entrance to hotel , reception plan open and clean.long corridors to rooms but very clean and well maintained, no dust on skirting boards. I stayed in a family room, amazingly spacious , comfortable beds, furniture new and good condition, but best of all the Romanesque bathroom with spotless tiles .
Breakfast very noisy and busy at 10 am but it was a Sunday morning so to be expected.
Pool again very clean, spacious changing area.
Tips: please provide conditioner in bathrooms , even if on request
Playroom for children very basic, consider free pool table or air hockey.
Overall very pleasant stay and incredibly good value for 168 euro for a family of five, dinner B and B.
enjoyed our stay at citywest hotel rooms large and clean staff very helpful.was very busy when we stayed would like to stay when not so busy but over all was content.
My wife and I booked a weekend package of two night B&B, with one evening meal and £20 (Euro) vouchers, per person, for Kildare shopping centre included. The staff at reception were very friendly and efficient. Our room was very spacious and comfortable - all that we could ask for. We used the swimming pool which was to our liking. The food in the Bistro bar was good and the service was likewise, but it is not fine dining. The bar has comfortable chairs and the staff here, both behind the bar and the waiters were friendly and helpful. We found that there was a good atmosphere in the hotel and we would go back again.
Very enjoyable stay at the citywest hotel for Disney on ice. Great organisation at the event, lovely bedroom, food was very tasty! The staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back
Hi, We recently had a Saturday night break at the Citywest Hotel...Room was spotless, entertainment was great and food was lovely. The Staff on check-in, the Dining Room, and the lounge were very professional and friendly. The lady who served us coffee at breakfast was so nice and she kept us topped up with a bit of friendly chat and banter...A Great start to the day. Also the express check out box was nice and handy too. Will def come again. Great value for money and an ideal short break. Thanks to everyone at the Citywest Hotel. No complaints at all.
My daughter and i had a wonderful two night stay in citywest hotel,we enjoyed all of our meals from the wonderful breakfeast selection to our delicious evening meals our superior double room was luxurious and comfortable .we have stayed before and will definetly stay again.
Excellent facilities and excellent service and value. .Will be back
This was an excellnt stay. I found the hotel very reasonably priced in comparison to other hotels. The staff were kind, friendly and always willing to help. I would most definately stay here again.
Fantastic hotel in the most perfect of settings. Park up the car & get the Luas into town from the Saggart stop which is within walking distance from the hotel. A hassle free day shopping & return to the cosy bar for a drink. Relaxing evening, including dinner in the Hibernian restaurant which was great value & very tasty. The rooms are of a high standard, lovely big comfy beds. Buffet breakfast with everything on offer. Will definitely visit again
My husband and I stayed in the Citywest Hotel last weekend (15th November 2013) for the second time this year. We received a warm and friendly welcome from the reception staff and were booked in quickly and efficiently. Our room was lovely and surprisingly quiet all through the night even though there was a wedding going on when we first arrived! Breakfast was a real treat with hot and cold cereals, fruits and a selection of cheese for me and and plenty of choice from the full Irish breakfast buffet for my husband. When I rang back to let the CityWest Hotel know that I forgot my makeup mirror Tracey in Lost Property put it on her "Customer returning" shelf for us to collect the next time we stay...which hopefully won't be long! Anne & Ben Boyle, Donegal.
A very good experience, from Reception right the way through our stay, hotel was nice, very Downton Abbey like, but i liked that, rooms were huge, best bed Ive ever slept in, bars were great, staff attentive and looked like they were enjoying their job, hotel nice relaxed feel about it, even though its busy, Lemongrass was great and the breakfast very good as well, staff at breakfast were also very good, a great price, a great location, definitely would recommend to others.
What a lovely hotel to stay in. Clean comfortable and courteous. Fantastic value and family friendly. Would reccomed this hotel to anyone interested in having a break. Will be coming back for definite :-)
hotel was lovely and the staff were brilliant, but the food in the restaurant in the evening was only ok
The room was beautiful and the bed was So comfortable. Everything was spotless. I made use of the leisure facilities and they were also wonderful. I couldn't fault the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends
Gorgeous hotel - very comfortable - enjoyed our stay. Friendly, professional staff. Only negative would be the breakfast; expected better in hotel of this standard.
We stayed at Citywest Hotel for the first time for 1 night during the last week in October. We received a warm welcome on checkin. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and for a big hotel it was a country house charm. The room was large, bright, clean topped off with a comfortable bed which resulted in a great nights sleep :). We ate in the resturant that night and had a very enjoyable meal. The staff were friendly. We had a nightcap in the lounge which was also nice and relaxing.
We enjoyed the stay so much that we booked back in later that week. On this checkin I was greated by a receptionist who was training. She was lovely. When we got to the room, I realised it was close to the lift (pet hate from experience a number of years back so I never ever stay get a room close by a lft since!) So I went back to her and she gave us another room, so questions asked. We had an equally enjoyable night. We've also booked a night in December for a family trip to dublin and we're all really looking forward to it.
The rooms can be a walk back to reception so if you have any special requirements keep that in mind and I am sure the staff will accomodate you.
Citywest Hotel is a real gem. And worth a stay.
Good experience .Liked the Bed Rooms and great facilities. Will stay again,
Beautiful setting, wonderful staff and great atmosphere. The rooms were very spacious and the lovely surroundings made for a very enjoyable two night stay.
Excellent!! Loved our family weekend stay here.
Although hotel was absolutely packed when we arrived due to Disney on Ice and other events taking place, we weren't too long waiting to check in. Even though there were huge volumes of people, the staff remained calm, friendly and very well organised throughout.
Food in the hotel was really nice too.
But the best thing was the service provided by staff. Great bunch. Well done.
I stayed in Citywest on the night of 09/11/2013. We were going to Disney on Ice on the Sunday morning. We arrived about 7.30pm to learn there was a mix up with our booking and I must say the staff were so helpful. It wasn't a problem, they just sorted it straight away. The hotel staff had everything covered. I never before saw so may children in the one building but it was well organised. The only fault I have it it was very hard to find the hotel. But once we did find it we had a great time and the breakfast was excellant. Thank you
Wat a fine hotel on beautiful grounds..stayed overnight..went to Disney on ice..we had a great time..friendly staff.clean rooms.beautifull swimming pool..
We had a great time, service was brilliant, may have queued a little too long to check in but this was due to bad timing and in between Disney on ice shows, excellent service, lovely food in bistro restaurant, rooms spotless and airy. Enjoyable stay in a fantastic hotel
Despite the hotel being as busy as any hotel I have ever seen, our stay was very enjoyable and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

2. staff are lovely and friendly
3. Food great too, bar & resturant
4. mins walk to luas for dublin city centre or o2 etc
5. mins walk to city west shopping centre
6. fab swimming pool for kids
7. just off m50
8. free parking
9. great deals
10. just luv it.............will tell my friends (if u give us a free night of course)
I stayed here on 8th and 9th of November as we were going to the Disney on Ice show. The hotel is very big and it was extremely busy. I was prepared for this as I had read some reviews before going! There were also some other events being held here at the same time. I was travelling with my adult daughter and 6 year old daughter. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel as it was a bit hectic but went to The Lemongrass restaurant around the back of hotel on first day and ordered room service from this restaurant on second day. Beautiful food and service! Breakfast was busy but very organised. We ate about 8.30 each morning but I understood that the later you eat the busier it gets! I travelled from Cork on the train and decided to get the Luas. My first time on it and I have to say it is an excellent service. No worry about missing the stop as it is the end of the line at Saggart. It took us about 10-15 minutes to walk to the hotel. Took the Luas into the city centre again the next day for some shopping and to the train station going home. The event itself was very well organised and what a pleasure it was to be staying on site!! I did not use the swimming pool but, if you did, you had to book a time as it was so busy. All in all I was very pleased with the hotel and facilities and I congratulate the management and staff for being able to organise such vast numbers so efficiently. I would go back again.
Went to Disney on Ice and stayed in the Citywest Hotel. Room clean, comfortable and good value. Lovely meal in the Lemon Grass Restaurant. And we enjoyed a tasty takeaway pizza in the lounge later on.
hotel coped great with the crowds of people that arrived for Disney on Ice. Had a few delays when checking in and breakfast but given the amount of people around this was inevitable. Comfortable rooms with air con , great choice for breakfast and help yourself. Got pizzas after show in the bar area and brought them to our rooms which was ideal with 3 small kids. beautifull décor throughout hotel and great leisure facilities. Perfect location no matter what your plans are in Dublin being just off motorway and no trying to park in city center hotels. Plus luas is just outside grounds for day trips to city.
Had Fabalousweekend hotel was lovely Staff very helpful, Breakfast very good .Really Enjoyed my stay
Had a fantastic stay as before hotel was extremely busy but staff did a fantastic job everything moved smoothly and no long waits considering how busy u were
had a great time thanks to all
The hotel was very busy the night we stayed, but check in was quick, room was clean and comfortable. The family room was spacious for all four of us. We had a bit to wait when we went down to dinner but food was good, and breakfast next morning was plentiful.
The Citywest Hotel in Saggart would always be my first choice for overnight or week-end stays in the Dublin region. It has everything you expect - or desire - in. A hotwl. Location is a key element, easily accessible from the motorway and by Luas and for me, the huge Leisure Centre is a big attraction. Food is excellent, staff friendly (and I have been coming here for seven or eight years) and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. In essence, simply excellent to stay here.
I have stayed many times at the City West Hotel and I love it! Its a very nice, luxury hotel with lots to do. I would recommend it to everyone.
A thouroughly enjoyable stay with friendly staff and a fantastic show.Level of orginisation was very impressive given the volume of people atending the event.
Proximity to the motorway is ideal.Looking forward to my next stay already.
we stayed in the Citywest Hotel for one night for the disney on ice show. I booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 children. We got 2 huge adjoining rooms for the night which we were very impressed with. The hotel was extremely busy that weekend because of the show and there were crowds of people all over but everything was very well organised in the hotel and it was well able to handle the crowds. We went to the bistro for dinner on the Friday evening. Despite how busy the place was we were seated really quickly, had loads of room, nice friendly staff and lovely food. There was plenty of staff at all times to make sure service was good. Breakfast the next morning was the same. It was smooth and efficient and plenty of food stocked up at all times.
Overall we were very impressed with the Citywest Hotel and would happily stay there again.
We had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel was very family orientated. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Location is great as a base for getting around Dublin.
Beautiful rooms to stay in, very large with lots of room.
Large clean bathroom with excellent running hot water all the time.
Pool was fantastic.
Ate at lemongrass which is nearby so very nice also.
Would definitely recommend.
Stayed at a very busy time, friendly hotel clean rooms , overall nice stay
The room was perfect, very quiet, given that there was a lot of functions going on. The staff were excellent and you couldn't beat their friendliness. Well done to all concerned.
The City West Hotel is one of the hotels we have visited twice this year already.
We love the spacious family rooms the friendly staff and the wonderful leisure centre.
The Lemon grass restaurant is fabulous of dining out.
I can' t wait to return to this hotel.
A very satisfied mum.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Citywest Hotel, Dublin for a long weekend at the start of October 2013. It was my third visit to the Hotel and definitely won't be my last. The staff were as always exemplary and the rooms are spotless and extremely spacious. It is always a pleasure to sample the delights Dublin has to offer and The Citywest Hotel is a perfect base for your visit.
Had a fantastic stay at citywest the hotel accommodated over 2000 people for the Disney on ice and done a great job. Had a meal on both nights which service and quality was brilliant. I have stayed numerous times at citywest and will always return I had 3 double superior rooms for this stay which we're fabulous.

Wonderful stay, great food and very pleasant staff.
Stayed here for the first night of Disney on ice. . It was a beautiful hotel. With plenty of car parking available. The carvery meal was nice bit pricey tho. Very well sign posted and easy to find. . Would definitely stay again..
Good size room. Very nice staff. A pleasant stay overall
Very good stay, staff who welcomed you in were very very helpful throughout the whole stay
Hotel and staff was very warming and inviting, Iam a smoker and some smoking hotel rooms are not quite as inviting but I have to say I could not fault city west, I stay in a lot of hotels around Dublin but I will be returning to city west it's easy get there u don't have hassle with traffic and the Lucas is less than a 10 minute walk to bring you in the city centre, thank you city west for a lovely break away and to all the staff
