it was our first time staying at citywest and we were very impressed thank you
Enjoyed stay, very pleasant, food lovely will definately be back
this is our fifth year staying on a may bank holiday, the staff are very courteous in all areas of the hotel, I was very happy when housekeeping gave me net curtaining for my room pormptly. hope to be back next year please god.
Hotel is fine ! Staff very polite and helpful ! Tiny window in the room ! Little natural light ! very very dull on a bright sunny day! Complained to staff who gave me another room which wasn't much better! Bathroom doesn't have any shelves for storage!
Last weekend was the first time I stayed in Citywest though I attend the Irish Dancing Championships every year there. Would I stay again............yes, definitely. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and pleasant. Room was a nice size and comfortable. Prices of rooms very reasonable. Overall a very relaxing stay and I hope to stay even longer next year.
Can't recommend the citywest highly enough. Absolutely fantastic. Friendly helpful staff and the facilities are awesome. Best gym I've ever been to and it's included in the price. Bargain!!
The breakfast is better if you go early rather than after 9.30 but even then it's still good quality.
I'll be going back without doubt
Excellent facilities. Lovely rooms. Staff all very polite & helpful. Tram close by gets you straight into Dublin centre. Have stayed here a few times & will no doubt again.
City West was fantastic. Service, food staff and atmosphere. 10/10
Fantastic couple of days. Food and welcome very good
We had a lovely stay. The rooms were to a high standard and very clean and the food was excellent. Will be back again next year.
Very nice overnight break, would stay again, lovely hotel.
We had an excellent stay, from the moment we checked in until we checked out all the staff were really helpful and polite, the room was lovely, the food excellent, cannot be faulted at all
A quick overnight stay to attend a function in the hotel. Very pleasant staff - helpful and courteous. The hotel was extremely busy but staff had plenty of time for any queries and questions we had. Ate in the restaurant for dinner - food very nice and staff knowledgeable about dietary needs. Room was airy and quiet so a good night's sleep was had by all. Very enjoyable experience
Friendly and attentive staff, beautiful venue, pleasant environment. Enjoyable stay
We were attending the CRN Irish Opens and stayed one night. The room was very comfortable and everything we needed was there. The breakfast the next day was lovely. We ate in the restaurant one night and had an excellent meal. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
Also, my friend's daughter left her phone in the restroom of the dancing venue and we thought that it was gone forever - it was an iPhone. However the restroom attendant found it and returned it to her. I must compliment the attendant for her extreme honesty and we mentioned it to reception at the time. I don't know her name but it happened on Saturday evening 4th May.
I would rate the City West Hotel very highly,
Nice hotel for the money. Huge tho! Restaurant was very reasonable for a hotel and food was lovely. Breakfast was good at e10 per person per day. Pool was nice except you had to purchase swim caps at 2.95!!!
Enjoyed our stay. Reception staff friendly, room lovely, breakfast very good. No issues with hotel but would suggest a shuttle service to Lisa line.
Really enjoyed our stay at City West. top class facilities and excellent staff!! Hope to see ye all again soon.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Citywest, check in was easy and hassle free, the room was clean and tidy, and cleaned each day of our stay, all the staff were very helpful and the food in the Hibernian restaurant was excellent, we ate there two nights in a row. we can certainly reccomend staying there.
very good serivces and mangement staffs are very friendly and warm to all no matter the race!!my kids had a lovely time and we wil surly come again soon...thank u for ur lovely serivces.....rate 90 pect
really nice hotel, friendly staff, would recommend to friends and family.
Lovely hotel, big spacious room, no problems at all. Would stay again. Only downfall is that our room was so far away from the reception.
I work away at large conferences staying in large hotels very often. Sometimes they can be a little impersonal as there is such a large customer base flowing through and also many staff. At the City West hotel i did not find this at all!! The staff were all extremely friendly and chatty and always remembered you. The room s were clean and spacious and decorated to a high standard. Only let down for me was a personal one and thats that I didn't get time for a round of golf and i hear that was great as well
I enjoyed my stay at citywest hotel last week. I found all the staff very helpful and the rooms were beautiful especially the bathrooms. I will definitely stay again.
Had a lovely stay. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are fantastic. Very modern and the king size beds are so comfy!
Had a lovely stay with my husband daughter and her friend for the irish dancing festival. Could not fault the hotel one bit.Room was a great size and overall had a great stay. Only maybe one negative point would be the parking. It would maybe be an idea to let the hotel guests use the hotel end of the car park and leave the far end for the golfers as it can be a bit of a pain trying to find a spot.
Absolutely fabulous stay could not fault anything from the food to the accommodation. All staff were friendly and courteous we will back
I had an enjoyable stay wiith my Mum and two daughters. Family room was big, bright, cheerful and comfortable. All hotel staff were very friendly expecially the restaurant and breakfast staff. All meals were delicious. Children's meals where served with the adult starter a very good idea. We all had a relaxing time. My girls loved the heated swimming pool. Thanks. We will be back again.
this must be my 8th stay at the Citywest Hotel, and I was packed as usual two days before I got there.
the hotel could not please me more.
I am just the wrong person to ask if there is a problem.... I never see one.
from you arrive until you leave, I have never yet met a rude or stupid member of staff..
any problem is sorted in minutes.... my problem this time.... there was no ironing board or iron in my room.
am I going to complain....??? No.
if I had wanted one, I could have phoned and had one within 10 minutes... I know that for a fact.
the hotel is spotless every single time too.
I have heard people complain about the long corridors, well for goodness sake, its the biggest hotel in Europe...
and just for the record, the time I was in a suite - at the furthest point away from reception
I timed it.... I really did..... it took 4 minutes and 30 seconds to reach the desk....
and that included the lift journey, so, come on .....
some one said they had taken 30 minutes, well, I just wonder what hotel they were at...!!!
I may not be there again until November, and you know something.... I cant wait...
Friendly staff, good facilities and we eat both nights and found the food excellent and reasonably priced which is unusual for Dublin.
Will go again.Possibly for the Irish Derby.Any offers including tickets??
An excellent hotel with superb facilities, great food and atmosphere, and lovely staff throughout. The spa area is great and very relaxing. Public areas were a bit noisy on Saturday night due to the number of children staying for a dancing event, but i assume this isnt the norm. Live music in the bar was very good. Would highly recommend Citywest for a break and i cant wait to go back.
excellent hotel, beauty rooms and gorgous food, highly recommend very good price also,we will be back very soon!!
This is an enormous hotel with good facilities. A little bit barn like but overall comfortable rooms, a nice bar and good breakfast.
Room, breakfast and service were all great.
I stayed in the Hotel 10 years ago for six weeks and I don't remember it being this good.
Just superb all round, great staff and first class service, also great value pr booked via Hotel.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel. We found all the staff so friendly and helpful. Our room was excellent. As it was our 41st wedding anniversary we treated ourselves to a meal in the Lemongrass and it was also excellent. We were only sorry we had only one night and will definitely be back for a few nights in the near future. We will be recommending it to our friends. Anne Marie Kelly.
hotel and staff very good, breakfast just okay, leisure facilities good, separate sauna s etc a bit off a downside, overall a very enjoyable stay and very helpful staff and would stay again
Nice hotel very helpful staff great price including breakfast. I visited for a conference so was fine. The corridor I was in was very long and I have arthritis maybe this could be put on you special requirements. It was fine for a conference but would not stay for a getaway as it does not seem equipped for this. no small bars or nice restaurant. Had to wait til 3pm for room servicing and had no towels
everything was perfect. Clean, warm friendly staff except girl in reception in swimming pool. Food was amazing
Stayed for 1 night (Fri) with my husband, attending a wedding evening. Ate in the Bistro, informal setting, food was nice, reasonably priced and friendly waitress. Superior Room was lovely, all the comforts you could want. Breakfast plentiful and tasty. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. Can definitely recommend.
Great time, Great value, Rooms very good, Bit of a long walk from Lobby to bed room. But overall very good, Regards Declan,
cOMFORTABLE & CONVENIENT WITH GOOD EI FI ACCESS BUT MOBILE BLACK SPOT
Found the staff, without exception, from bar to restaurant, leisure centre and reception were all of the utmost politeness and helpfulness. Rooms were immaculate and staff and guests were very accommodating toward our young children as well as others.
Enjoyed the stay very much
The hotel was exalent, big and clean rooms
Food in the morning was also good, soom vagtables are needed in the morning
EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM FRIENDLY STAFF. ROOM WAS SO MUCH BIGGER THAN I EXPECTED. I WAS IN DUBLIN VISITING MY BROTHER WHO IS VERY ILL IN HOSPITAL AND THE STAFF WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL IN DIRECTING ME TO THE HOSPITAL. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE HOTEL TO ANYONE STAYING IN THIS AREA. VERY EASY TO FIND AND GET TO FROM THE AIRPORT
we really enjoyed our stay and we were kick boxing there on sunday and found everything to be excellent thank you for everything it was great value at 160euro for b/b and evening meal keep up the good work and who knows when we might be in Dublin again
Lovely stay and very good staff. Breakfast great.
We arrived on Friday evening, to be given a complimentary upgrade to adjoining rooms, which was very much appreciated and a pleasant surprise. The rooms were very spacious, with a queen sized bed in one room, and a queen and single in the other room. There was a fridge put into one of the rooms as I'd requested, and there was good facilities such as flat screen tv's on the wall, a very good hairdryer (a surprise in a hotel!) and tea/coffee making facilities. The air conditioning is centrally located, and the rooms were were in (Swift Wing) were very warm, so be sure to ring to reception and ask them to adjust it, as it makes sleeping very difficult when it's too warm.
We ate in the hotel restaurant that evening, which was ok. I didn't feel it was of a four-star hotel quality, however it was from a set menu so perhaps it was just the "economy" menu.
Our daughter was ill the next day, and housekeeping were very good to us, giving us extra of sheets, towels etc.
We ordered room service from the Lemongrass restaurant that night, which was delicious, would highly recommend it.
We used the swimming pool on Sunday morning, which was lovely and my daughter enjoyed.
Location is very good, just off the motorway on the way into Dublin and just 20 minutes from the city without traffic, so you are near enough but far enough away to have fresh air outside the door and take a little stroll up the tree lined path.
The hotel was very busy with a lot of events & parties going on, and the reception areas were crowded at times, which took away from the atmosphere in a way I think, it wasn't as relaxed as I would have liked it to be, but our room was far enough away from the reception that it did not impact us at night time.
Good stay, friendly staff. Clean , friendly , efficient. Room along way from lobby but otherwise no issues. No safe in room I stayed in. Previously there was.
Top Class hotel at very low prices. Everything was superb, from arriving to leaving. Friendly staff, Lovely food and the hotel itself was absolutely fantastic.
